Description
To remember, in our own way, the 50th anniversary of the death of our great-grandfather Giuseppe Maserin known as “Belu”, alpine of the 4th reg. Batt. Cadore and Cav. of Vittorio Veneto, we wanted to create a “bold” dagger inspired by those that were obtained from the former bayonets of the Carcano ’91. Specifically, we were inspired by the shapes of the bayonet that was made at the CO.RI.CA.MA “plant” in Maniago and recognizable by the CM marking on the blade.
We called it BeluM by joining “Belu”, our grandfather’s nickname, the “M” of our logo-surname, thus also obtaining a reference to the Latin term “bellum”.
It is a historically inspired project made with modern machinery and materials.
The wooden box, branded with a stencil technique, deliberately recalls the features of the crates in which war material was stored.
This dagger is dedicated to our great grandfather and to all the heroes who gave their lives for their country.
